"Every ticket is an act of faith, hope, and love."
This is not a recital. It is a testimony.
On one stage in Austin this June, three world-class artists, each shaped by dance in profound and deeply personal ways, will share an evening unlike any other.
Their stories are extraordinary. Their reunion is rare. And the cause they are dancing for is one that demands witness.
Redeeming Dance students will open the evening with their own performances; young dancers in the early stages of a journey that transforms far more than technique.
Rachelle Dartnall takes the stage with a story all her own, a voice in movement that speaks to the heart of what this night is about.
The evening culminates in a powerful feature performance by Miss Elzanne Fields and Andile Ndlovu, two South African artists reuniting on stage for the first time in years.
The theme is Faith, Hope & Love. But really, it is about what dance redeems.

Miss Elzanne founded Redeeming Dance because dance redeemed something in her first. Her methodology; born from her own healing journey through injury, loss, and transformation, weaves anatomy-informed, somatically-attuned instruction with the belief that movement can restore what has been broken.
Stepping onto this stage is not simply a performance. It is the fullest expression of why she built everything she has built. She is not directing this evening. She is testifying through it.
"Dance redeems. I know because it redeemed me."

Andile Ndlovu grew up in the Soweto townships of Johannesburg and was told repeatedly that ballet was not for people like him. He practiced anyway. He was discovered at a South African competition and offered a full scholarship to The Washington Ballet - one of America's most prestigious dance companies.
In 2018, he became the First South African Dancer in history to be nominated for the Benois de la danse - widely known as the Ballet Oscar. His story is not background. It is the performance.

Young and Adult dancers at the beginning of a journey that shapes far more than technique. Come see what this studio is building — in every class, every correction, every act of courage on a studio floor.
Yeshua Ballet Theatre and Redeeming Arts exist on the conviction that movement can restore what trauma has taken - particularly for survivors of human trafficking.
The name of this studio is not metaphor. Redeeming Dance describes something real. Dance was the vehicle for Miss Elzanne's own healing. It was the language in which Andile's story was written. And through Rachelle's work, it becomes the path by which dancers learn to heal, stand, and rise. This is the offering being made to those who need it most.
"Every ticket you purchase directly supports healing for survivors. Your presence tonight is an act of faith, hope, and love."
